    Lively Discussions

Well-Read Women’s Book Club serves women of all ages of Maternity of Mary and Holy Childhood parishes along with the women of Maternity of Mary-St. Andrew Catholic School. Groups read one book per month, and meet once per month to discuss. Book selections correspond to the themes of a woman’s life. This year we are excited to dive into the Year of the Father with the help of some excellent authors such as Vergil, Elizabeth Gaskell, and Carlo Collodi, among others!

    3rd Tuesday OR 3rd Thursday at 7pm

For more information, please contact esboldtj@mmsaschool.org

  • You are invited to join us for an exciting study of two essays published by the University of Mary:

    1) From Christendom to Apostolic Mission - Pastoral Strategies for an Apostolic Age

    2) The Religion of the Day: Sequel to: From Christendom to Apostolic Mission.
Both of these essays address the question: How do we live as Christians in this post-Christian age? The reading is very accessible and thought provoking.

The group meets every two weeks on Saturday mornings from 6:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.  For more information please contact Jim Ennis at 651.485.5622 (cell phone).

  • "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Dare to sign up for this challenging group which tackles issues such as purity, prayer, and holiness.

Day and time of the meetings to be determined with the participants.

For more information please reach out to Deacon Dennis at 651-278-873.

  • Prayerfully consider joining a small group of women as together we grow in faith.

We will begin with a 6 meeting series centered around a consecration to Jesus through Mary. We will use the guide by Fr. Michael Gaitley: "33 Days to Morning Glory". He tells us:

Mary’s job is to help us grow in holiness… and by the power of the Holy Spirit, to form every human being into “another Christ”...Therefore
every human being is invited to rest in the womb of Mary and be
transformed there…more perfectly into Christ’s own image.”

Meetings will begin Wednesday, October 30th and continue weekly (with the exception of Thanksgiving week) through the week of December 9th, with the consecration occurring on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, December 12th.

For more information and to sign up for a group contact Sally Ennis at sallygennis@yahoo.com

    At Holy Childhood

Please come and join us - no registration required! We share intentions and pray the rosary together.

If whether is lovely, we like to meet outside in the Holy Childhood parking lot in front of the Mary statue. The parking lot is just off of Pascal.

If the weather is not cooperating we meet in the church - come in through the midway parkway entrance.

We hope to see you there!
